At IDPC we firmly believe that the African Diaspora is simply one of the continent's best resource bases. Its intellectual, economic and spiritual depth as well as breadth is truly a remarkable testament of what should, and indeed, must be one of our most important weapons of choice against the suffering of fellow humans. We also firmly believe that there can be no greater or even more powerful weapon against the sometimes seemingly intractable issues facing our continent than a coalition of the willing between the Diaspora, friends of the Diaspora and individuals that live the daily reality of life back home. We are thus strongly committed to developing the most comprehensive coalition for development of not just the Diaspora but also of our friends.

The coalition for development is an open participatory one that welcomes anyone and everyone with an agenda for positive change and development. Our uniquely flexible infrastructure will allow you to choose when, how, where and or how long you wish to participate. Quite similar to 'open source' software development processes, we recognise that many individuals have a keen interest in developmental issues but often have no channels to
pursue these due to a number of reasons.

Joining the coalition is a simple matter of minutes but also an immensely powerful indication that like many of us you have came to the realisation that it is no longer time to walk but to run nor is it any longer a time to talk but to be part of the process that seeks to uplift the suffering of others.
